Polyurethane Concrete Raising & Void Filling

High Density Polyurethane material is a two part urethane that expands into a foam-like consistency.

The equipment is contained in a truck or trailer, and has a sufficient length of hose to accommodate your needs.

The process of void filling and raising a concrete slab is the same as traditional mudjacking. Polyurethane expands versus the pressure of pumping in traditional mudjacking material.

Because of this characteristic of the material and how it is delivered, polyurethane can cover a larger area in less time.

Polyurethane is used commercially to stabilize joints, machine bases, factory floors, or void filling. This eliminates hazards so that fork-lifts can run smoothly and daily operations can return to normal.

Void Filling

Vibrations, washout, and animal damage can leave you with voids under a concrete slab that will cause it to sink. Filling these voids with mudjacking or polyurethane material will allow the section to be raise to the correct level.

What is Mudjacking?

Mudjacking is also know as: Slabjacking, Concrete Raising, and Pressure Grouting.

On the day of your work, holes are strategically drilled into the concrete slab that requires mudjacking
Mudjacking material is then pumped under the concrete slab. This is a pond sand-based material that will not lose its density. Combined with portland cement, this mud-like non-organic mixture is pumped under the concrete slab with a hydraulic mudpump roughly the size of a riding lawn mower.
RaiseRite truck remains parked while the mudjacking crew maneuvers the pump to the site requiring repair. Armed with many lengths of hose, the mudjacking crew can reach just about anywhere.

After the mudjacking is completed, a plug is inserted into the hole, and is patched with cement. The concrete slab is ready for use immediately; however, it is recommended to that you allow the patch material to set up before use. This typically takes a couple of hours.
Customers can still access your main entrance as our very courteous crew will make sure traffic flow is not interrupted.

Most jobs can be done in one day, large jobs may take longer, and your operations can continue while we work. Typically RaiseRite can work around your stock or machinery, working with your schedule.

Concrete Grinding

Concrete grinding is an alternative solution to mudjacking for the on-going maintenance and repair of sunken concrete. The cost for concrete grinding is less than replacement, and in most cases slabs that are misaligned by up to two inches can be corrected.

Slabs cannot be lowered when mudjacking. Therefore, grinding down a section is a viable alternative in those situations in which the surrounding sections cannot be mudjacked.
